Metropolitan Shipping

FDB Office Furniture ships office furniture FAST! And we mean it. If your delivery address is within our metropolitan standard delivery zone, we aim to dispatch items within 2-4 business days. Naturally, our qualified furniture transport experts need a little R & R so we give them Saturday and Sunday off, therefore our 2-4 days dispatch goal does not to take into consideration weekends and public holidays. On the bright side, our online store is open 24/7, 365 days a year so you can shop at your convenience. Ground floor shipping is $39 to metro areas, and $59 to ‘semi-metro’ areas. Premium shipping is available for an extra cost if you have specific requirements around delivery times, or need your goods delivered above the ground floor. Shipping Conditions

Our Flat-rate Shipping policy applies to all our in-house produced and curated products (that is, it excludes accessories such as magnets and whiteboard markers) – with the exception of those delivery areas that fall outside our standard delivery network. In general, if we can drive a truck there without the GPS stating ‘at the next black stump, continue 400km’ we can get it to you for a flat rate. There are a few exceptions that we just don’t have control over – including islands (our truck isn’t all that waterproof), infrequently serviced remote areas (think mining sites) – and postpack deliveries (we’re not going to charge you $39 for a $12 Post Satchel). Should you have any queries regarding our policy, please don’t hesitate to give our friendly customer service staff a call on 1300 964 799 who can advise you on best rates and other options (such as pickup at our warehouse for privately contracted delivery services).

Regional Shipping

FDB Office Furniture caters for everyone Australia wide.  If your delivery address is outside our standard metropolitan delivery zone, delivery will be $88 for ‘small’ products and $187 for ‘large’ products, except where advised otherwise (such as the conditions above). Assembly

The majority of our office furniture is shipped flat packed for easy transport and to avoid damage.  The furniture requires very easy assembly.  Included with our furniture are detailed assembly instructions. No speciality tooling is required. If you don’t feel comfortable assembling your new office furniture or simply don’t have the time, we can organise assembly for you at very reasonable prices. Assembly is available to most of our standard metropolitan shipping zones but it is best to check with us prior to placing your order.
